The portal runs on managed cloud infrastructure that provides the underlying database, authentication, file storage, and hosting controls. BBS configures how those features are used inside this application — including who can access admin areas, what data is collected, and how long it is retained.

Through the eligibility check and application forms we collect the information you submit, such as your name, contact details, qualifications, programme of interest, and any documents you upload (for example, a CV or proof of payment). We do not collect data you have not provided directly.

• Connections to the portal are served over HTTPS.
• Uploaded documents (such as CVs) are stored in private buckets and are only retrievable by authorised BBS staff using short-lived signed links.
• Access to the admin dashboard requires a staff account; sensitive actions are further restricted by role-based permissions.
• Account passwords are managed by our identity provider and never stored by us in plain text.

Your application and eligibility details are visible only to BBS admissions staff who need them to process your enquiry. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

We keep applicant records for as long as is necessary to support your application and meet our record-keeping obligations. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion where applicable by contacting the admissions office.
